Private Education
A high-class, distinct educator who joins your family to oversee the development of your child/ren
Your School
What does your dream school look like? Do you want a lot of tech? Minimum tech? Have no idea? Do you love buzz words like Montessori and passion-based, but don't actually know what that means for a homeschool?
When you hire a private educator, you design your school with as little or as much involvement as you want. Ms. Anderson can be self-sufficient in creating a learning environment, can help your ideals come to fruition, or can work within a provided environment. This will be your school.
Your Travels
Do you or your spouse travel often and/or for extended periods of time? What if your children joined you on your travels--not as anchors, but as loved ones with whom you can make memories when you're not working? With A.a, you can have your children's schoolings travel easily with your career, and give them educations that maximize the opportunities provided by your travels. Ms. Anderson's creativity, resourcefulness, and intellect allow lessons to go well beyond anything a school can offer the frequent traveler or those enjoying residences in various locations.
Way more than Academics
Private education encompasses a great deal more than academics, just as a child's life does. A.a students are supported in extracurriculars such as sports and fine arts, but also in exploring the world through museums, nature, professional laboratories, business pursuits, lectures, civil services, cultural immersions, and more. When you hire Ms. Anderson, you are hiring a professional to orchestrate the ideal development of your child and to respond to your child and their situations--aiming for outcomes you define.
Logistics
Salary
The salary in this position can vary. Because I work contracts throughout the world, it is difficult to give number for your specific situation. To decide if you are in the right place, consider my range $120,000 to $210,000 per year.
Travel
I travel with your family as often as you would like. While traveling, you are responsible for expenses such as separate and private accommodations, dinning, and transportation. Depending on your child/ren, I sometimes travel with the children and not parents. In these situations, if nanny/s are traveling, my accommodations remain separate from the children's; but if I travel as the only child-focused adult, the children and I will have adjoining accommodations.
Housing
I prefer to live out unless offered accommodations are separate from the family's home.
Benefits
Benefits, such as insurances and specific time off are not essential. (Our contract will define holidays and time off.) The benefit I most value is investment matching for retirement contributions.
